In terms of cost there is only a small difference so it's well worth the extra.

Who doesn't want to stretch their money a little further on their holiday? Even beyond the skiing, Les Menuires is a perfect place for a budget-friendly break. Once the lifts shut down (at around 7 pm), you can swing by one (or several) of the local bars. Most of them offer discounted drinks during happy hour. The resort, despite its sleepier reputation, has a lively après-ski scene, and it's a nice way to cap the evening after a tiring day on the slopes.
